Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion
The Belgian framework around player protection is notably strictly by European standards and you notice it at signup. Every licence holder opens your account at €200 per week. A lower limit takes effect directly, raising runs through a verification and then a waiting window.
Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. The register is not public. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. A trial account falls under it too.
